We are happy to announce that we have planned an afternoons of music and delicious refreshments for the benefit of Centro Infantil de los Ángeles! Held at the lovely Bed and Breakfast, Casa de la Cuesta, this monthly event has become a favorite of locals and visitors alike. From this glorious venue above the center of San Miguel, you can see spectacular views, visit the world class mask museum, The Other Face of Mexico at your leisure, and simply enjoy the warmth of good company and delicious goodies prepared by a very capable staff. Owners Heidi and Bill LaVasseur, have become known for their generosity in hosting events to benefit San Miguel charitable organizations. Centro Infantil de los Ángeles is grateful to be a beneficiary of that generous spirit.
Our music entertainment for the afternoon is called Timka is an amazing duo made up of partners Stephanie and Nelo from Colombia. Timka is liquid soul that takes you in a journey from Afro-Colombian roots to a worldly expression that transcends pop and beautifully blends poetry and Latin American rhythms. They combine their ancestral and traditional roots with modern music, expressing their unreleased songs and rich folklore. You are in for a treat!
The afternoon of Wednesday, October 18, from 4 to 6 pm will provide an opportunity to meet old and new friends, enjoy the beautiful venue, explore the mask museum, learn more about the work of this amazing non- profit. Come and enjoy a memorable afternoon and bring your friends and out of town guests. A great way to experience the magic and hospitality of San Miguel.

Centro Infantil de los Angeles is a nonprofit organization that provides free, quality daycare and preschool education to children with the greatest need in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Our center affords working parents the comfort of knowing their children are fed, nurtured and can learn in a safe, caring environment as they work to make a better life for themselves and the community as a whole
