Who Are We? Miss Flor de Maria Martinez Rosas

Who Are We? is a Centro Infantil de los Angeles series highlighting the incredible people who keep the center running. These are the individuals who show up each and every day to make things happen and improve the lives of the children we serve. These are our angels. In sharing their incredible stories, we hope to bring our supporters closer to those they support and provide a peek into the daily activities of Centro Infantil de los Angeles.

Miss Flor celebrated working for Centro Infantil de los Angeles for 12 years this past December 12th. She’s one of the most patient and caring teachers we have and we’re honored to share a bit of her story with you.
She found out about Centro Infantil de los Angeles thanks to another teacher we once had many moons ago and she thought of applying as soon as she heard about a job opening. She says she works best with students 2 to 3 years of age due to her personality, and when you see her in action, she’s a natural.

The kids love her and so many generations of our students in Centro Infantil have passed through her lovely classroom.
She also makes beautiful necklaces that she sells in our events at Casa de la Cuesta and they’re detailed and very well made, she started that business on the side 5 years ago and she continues to do it and enjoy it.
